Our philosophy for living...
1. Live generously
Giving is so much more rewarding and fulfilling than taking. One of the greatest gifts we can give is ourselves, and whilst there are may ways in which to do this, perhaps the most generous of all is to give our time. Time to share our stories, knowledge and experience. Time to see, listen, hear and understand others. Real conversations which give us the capacity to self-reflect, learn and grow.
2. Live as your whole self
Easier said than done isn’t it. None of us are perfect and we’re all muddling through one way or another, but it’s important to give yourself the space and time to reflect honestly on who the real you is. It’s ok to be that person, no matter what you or others may have been telling you. It’s ok to feel fearful and you have to be willing to be vulnerable - it takes huge courage to lay your full self bare, but you always have our ear. Remember, it’s ok to feel like you’re failing. If we’re not failing then we’re probably not trying. So put yourself out there and don’t stop trying.
3. Live kindly
Towards people: Kindness is active, not passive, so try make it a habit. First, make that decision to be kind to yourself. Accept your perceived imperfections and embrace what it is that makes you different. Second, try to show one indiscriminate act of kindness to others every day. The generosity that exists in the act of kindness is hugely fulfilling and creates a positive feedback loop in the universe.
Towards the planet: Quality has no value without responsibility. Premium quality has always been a prerequisite for our clothing. It’s what our customers expect and it’s what we love to create. However, we believe that quality is much more than pure comfort and aesthetics. It’s about how we create. We are tireless in our quest to minimise our impact on the planet and people at all stages of production. We ride together on this beautiful planet and it’s all of our jobs to protect it.
4. Live positively
Sometimes life can be challenging but we always have a choice in how we respond. Try to be optimistic and seek out the positives where you can. Finally, don’t forget why you fell in love with cycling. There will always be ups and downs, but remember that freedom is just a pedal stroke away. Channel the passion and inspiration you find on the bike to discover and pursue your true purpose off it.
